Unicef

During autumn 2017 Akelius Foundation entered into an agreement with UNICEF Sweden saying that Foundation should double the gifts and contributions that UNICEF Sweden received during December 2017.

The Swedish newspaper, Dagens Industri, wrote several articles about the campaign, inspiring both companies and private persons to make donations.

When December 2017 came to an end, UNICEF Sweden had received 70 MSEK. A more normal December they would receive 50 MSEK.

Akelius Foundation doubled the amount to 140 MSEK, making the campaign a Swedish record collection for UNICEF.
